Job Description
An instructor position in the Department of Nutrition and Health, College of Medicine and Health Sciences starting Fall 2021. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching, demonstrated skills in instructing the practical courses in human nutrition including food service management, nutrition assessment and meal planning at the undergraduate level. Professional experience in food service management is preferred.
Minimum Qualification
Applicants must have an earned Masters in Human Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent degree from an accredited university. Proficiency in the English language is required. The ability to teach undergraduate Nutrition and dietetics courses is a must.
Preferred Qualification
Teaching experience in undergraduate nutrition and dietetics programs, supervising the students/interns in the clinical practice of food service systems rotations. Work experience in food service management in nutrition/dietetics department. Registered Dietitian qualification is preferred.
Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
Skills in teaching the practical courses of food service management, nutritional assessment, meal planning. English is the language of instruction and communication in the Department of Nutrition and Health.
