  • Full time fixed term until 31 October 2022 offering a base salary of $87K p.a., plus leave loading and generous employer's contribution to superannuation

About the opportunity

The School of Civil Engineering has a reputation for the quality of its graduates, for the breadth, depth and innovation in its undergraduate curriculum, and for the strength of its research and postgraduate teaching programs.

As an essential part of the administration team within the School of Civil Engineering this position provides senior administrative support to the School, by managing the financial and HR administration requirements in terms of External teaching, Casual contracts and Consultancy Agreements as well as invoicing and general HR support.

Position duties include:

  • managing all casual and consultancy appointments
  • following up on various HR matters for School staff
  • managing finance and accounting support
  • assistance with HR and WHS processes
  • coordinating meetings and events.

  • tertiary qualifications in business administration and/or equivalent relevant experience in business administration
  • human resource and/or financial administration experience
