Applications are invited for appointments as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref.: 503597), to commence on or before July 31, 2021 for up to three years.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Robotics, Mechatronic Engineering, or related fields of study from either a local university or a non-local university among the top 100 institutions for the relevant subject. Applicants should have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, be highly self-motivated and capable of working independently. Given the dynamic and multidisciplinary environment, exceptional communication and problem-solving skills will be required. Past experience in medical robotics would be desirable.
The appointee will have the opportunities not only to explore practical knowledge in cutting-edge image-guided robotics, but also to learn advanced therapeutics/surgical treatment. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
