You will provide strategic leadership to the various Student Life units thereby enabling Brac University to provide a holistic range of student services across the University. You will be a strong advocate for the extra-curricular and co-curricular needs of the students. Functional activities will include student development, governance and student leadership, careers service, clubs and societies, health and wellbeing and residential and on-campus support services.

You will ideally have a well-developed understanding of higher education in the national and international context. Demonstrated success of building developmental activities for young adults would be highly beneficial as would experience of managing the activities of diverse membership groups. Furthermore, evidence of understanding and successfully responding to the needs of a broad stakeholder groups will be required.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with young adults is essential. Experience of undertaking similar previous assignments would be beneficial.
