Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Principal Lecturer in Economics in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 503593), to commence on July 1, 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year or three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Economics or related disciplines with at least 2 years’ teaching experience at tertiary level or a combination of two years of teaching and work experience, and good teaching skills.  The appointee is expected to provide high-quality teaching in the area of macroeconomics.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.  Housing benefits will be provided as applicable for Senior Lecturer and Principal Lecturer.
