The Role
- Continuing, Full Time
- $97,910 to $138,078 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
- Port Macquarie
Focus on developing and preparing graduates for careers in social work, humanities and human services by delivering high quality, student centred learning opportunities to students.
Actively contribute to teaching, research and community engagement in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences teaching a range of subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels utilising blended models. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to develop and progress an active research profile aligned to the strategic direction of the School.
To be successful you will have:
- A doctoral or masters qualification relevant to the discipline or equivalent accreditation and standing
- Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Evidence of the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching
- A record of research and/or equivalent professional scholarship/contribution relevant to the discipline

The Faculty of Arts and Education is one of three Faculties within the University. The School of Humanities and Social Sciences promotes critical thinking and positive community change in the study areas of social work and human services, English, history, philosophy, politics and sociology. The School supports community engagement activities, including the Booranga Writers Centre, the Charles Sturt University Regional Archives, and the Wagga Philosophy website.
