Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr Luo Min, utilizing biochemistry and cryo-EM to study the structure and function of membrane protein complexes that play essential role in human pathogen.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

1. Performing research independently
2. Mentoring graduate/undergraduate students

Qualifications

• Qualifications / Discipline:

Last year or graduated PhD students, with shown strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, membrane protein and structural biology. Experience with membrane protein structural biology is highly preferred.

• Skills:

Shown strong skills in cloning, protein biochemistry, membrane protein purification, kinetic assay, structural biology and model building.

• Experience:  

Strong publication track record in structural biology, have at least 3 first-author paper published in peer-reviewed journals.
