Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 503486), to commence as soon as possible for one to two year(s), with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in Bioinformatics, Statistics, Computer Science, Biophysics, Biomedical Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.  Preference will be given to those with experience in next generation sequencing data analysis and cloud computing.  Applicants should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary team.  The appointee will develop and apply big data and artificial intelligence methods to a range of biomedical problems, including single cell data analysis, metagenomics analysis, and digital health applications.  Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Joshua Ho at jwkho@hku.hk.  Applicants who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 501770) need not re-apply.
