HKU Graduate Management Trainee Programme
The University of Hong Kong has launched a HKU Graduate Management Trainee programme for aspiring graduates with an aim to nurture young talents who are interested in higher education management, to play a role in supporting the education and development of students, leaders and workforce of the future, as well as enabling an enterprise of cutting-edge research that will benefit the society. The Management Trainees (MTs) will be offered 2 to 3 job placements in different departments / assignments and engage in special projects during the 15-month appointment period. Each MT will be assigned a mentor and provided with coaching and progress evaluation.
Applicants should be recent university graduates with good honours degree. All disciplines are welcome. They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, strong analytical thinking and leadership skills, ability to work well independently and as part of a team. They should demonstrate keen interest in professional services and management in higher education and have a strong sense of responsibility and drive for success.
Remuneration, Terms and Benefits
- A 15-month appointment
- MT with outstanding performance will be offered appointment at Assistant Manager level
- A monthly salary at HK$25,000
