Our Learning Innovation (LI) team supports the college’s commitment to transforming lives through providing a centralised, whole-of-College service, collaborating across divisions and with teachers to further support and promote student success and educational excellence and foster a culture of innovation.

As the STEM Curriculum Design Specialist, you will be working closely with key stakeholders to develop and create course content, teaching and learning activities and supporting materials based on the understanding, articulation and implementation of best practices in curriculum development. 

Joining the Curriculum Design team, you will make evidence-based decisions using engagement, academic and performance data and stakeholder feedback to effectively support, make recommendations and implement strategies for improvement across the College’s suite of programs.

These are full-time ongoing opportunities (x2) to be part of a collaborative and passionate team of curriculum specialists with a highly competitive salary range of $99,627 - $114,570 + 17% super (based on relevant experience and qualifications) and great staff benefits! 

What you will have

• Experience developing innovative curriculum materials within a technology-enhanced learning environment.  
• Tertiary qualification in Education (or equivalent qualifications) and within a STEM based discipline with significant experience in the design of student-centred learning experiences and curriculum as well as educational resources across STEM areas (within university pathway programs would be highly desirable).
• Experience teaching pathway and/or English language learning students and knowledge of the educational needs of international students in a transition education context.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including teaching teams and cross divisional members.
• Ability to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret a complex range of information and to address and make recommendations on the information.
