Senior Data and Marketing Insights Manager
About the position
The Senior Data and Marketing Insights Manager is responsible for managing and analysing data to drive customer-centric and insights driven decision making for the university. The position will gather and analyse data to develop a deep understanding of the University’s audiences and will track performance and return on investment across all marketing and recruitment channels.
The role requires a mix of strategic thinking, business and audience knowledge and in-depth data and analytical skills, to leverage all available data assets to generate valuable insights and help solve complex business problems.
About the person:
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years work experience in a data analytics or marketing insights environment. They will be highly analytical, insights driven and self-motivated and able to manage multiple parallel projects.
They will have demonstrated expertise in:
- Manipulating and analysing large data sets from multiple sources to generate insights
- Implementing sophisticated techniques to track, measure and report on the effectiveness and profitability of marketing activities
- Programming logic and data tools including SQL
- Managing the integrity of business and customer data through effective data governance

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $94 051 plus 9.5% superannuation p.a.
