HR Analyst – permanent, full time

We have a newly created HR Analyst opportunity to join the HR team at Edinburgh Napier University. Working with the Senior HR Analyst, the role will provide systems expertise to stakeholders ensuring a quality first class service.

The Opportunity

The HR Analyst will deliver customer focused front-line support and resolution to all systems users including account management.

This role will provide quality management information and contribute to ensuring strong governance, quality management systems and data controls are in place. The HR Analyst will analyse management information identifying and understanding trends, changes and themes.

The HR Analyst will become a systems expert, ensuring testing of new functionality, contributing to system developments and initiatives, providing updates and excellent service to stakeholders.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a real interest in HR systems and a desire to learn and make a difference. Ideally, you will have experience working with an integrated HR system/s with an understanding of HR processes and procedures. Equally, you may have a background with finance or payroll systems or within an IT support role. Whatever your background, you will have familiarity working within a performance reporting environment with expertise in producing operational reports and management information to inform decision making. You will have experience understanding and interpreting user requirements and demonstrable skills delivering excellent customer service to stakeholders. A high level of IT skills are paramount as well as a systemic and analytical approach to managing data.

  • Salary: Grade 4, £26,715 - £31,865 per annum
