Lecturer in Modern Chinese History
The Department of History seeks to appoint a Lecturer specialising in Chinese History post-1900. You will conduct and publish high quality research in the subject, seek external research funding and engage in impact-generating activities. You will teach the existing module 5AAH3007: China from Imperial State to People’s Republic, develop and design new modules in your area of specialism, and contribute to the planning, organisation and delivery of other teaching activities. You will assume pastoral and administrative responsibilities, and participate actively in the life and culture of the department. A strong research track record, excellent teaching ability, outstanding interpersonal skills and a collaborative ethos are essential for the role.
