Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Prof Ariando on a project on building large spin-orbit coupling systems based on functional materials for efficient spin to charge conversion that can be realized and operated at room temperature.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Development of the material systems and devices
- Characterization of the relevant properties
- Understanding the physical mechanism and demonstration of the working devices
Qualifications
- Qualifications / Discipline:
- PhD Degree in Physics/Chemistry/Electrical Engineering/Material Science
- Skills:
- Thin film deposition
- Nanostructuring and device fabrication in clean-room
- Material and property characterization techniques
- Experience:
- Experience in thin film deposition by pulsed laser deposition technique and in spin-based device fabrication and characterization is an added advantage.
