Job Description

A research assistant (RA) position is available at the Department of Integrative Agriculture, College of Food and Agriculture, United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), within the framework of a research project funded by the UAEU Center Based Interdisciplinary. The successful candidate will work in the UAEU Integrative Agriculture Department. Duties will include intensive work on literature review, conducting survey to collect primary data, analyzing data, preparing the final report and etc.

Minimum Qualification

Applicants must hold a BSc Degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics or related areas

Preferred Qualification

Holding a MSc or PhD degree or being a graduate MSc or PhD student in the related areas is preferable.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience

The candidate should have capability of working in preparation and conducting survey in food industry either as individual or in-group with other researchers. Interview with respondents while conducting survey requires both in English and Arabic. That is why, fluency in reading and writing of both languages is needed.
