Working at MIT offers opportunities, an environment, a culture – and benefits – that just aren’t found together anywhere else. If you’re curious, motivated, want to be part of a unique community, and help shape the future – then take a look at this opportunity.

GLOBAL INVESTMENT STAFF MEMBERMIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCo), to join a team of peers with a shared mandate--to seek out, partner with, and learn from the world’s best investors, with the goal of allocating MIT’s capital to the most compelling public and private investment opportunities available. All members of the investment staff sit on MITIMCo’s internal investment committee and are expected to formulate and voice independent opinions regardless of experience or tenure. MITIMCo employs a generalist model and does not use titles, which aligns with its philosophy of group responsibility (successes and failures are borne as a team) and voices being weighed equally. As a generalist team member, the responsibilities will include sourcing, evaluating, and allocating capital to a diverse array of opportunities around the world.  MITIMCo invests primarily in partnership with external investment managers, which means its role extends to evaluating both the people who run these firms as well as the assets they own.
