Job Description
The Research Engineer positions involve developing novel technologies for treatment of nutrients and emerging contaminants in engineered systems, waterbodies and the environment, in particular cultivation and characterization of functional microbes and genes. The candidate should possess strong background in environmental engineering, molecular biological skills, and bioinformatics.
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Research experience in one or more areas such as environmental microbiology, and chemical analysis using instruments, e.g. GC-MS, HPLC, PCR.
- Independent, motivated, resourceful and able to work in a team.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good English writing skills for writing reports and publications.
