Job Description

This is a postdoc level research position focusing on the micro and nanoscale investigation of the cement-based construction materials. The researcher will be responsible for preparing cement-based sample under various boundary conditions, studying the 3D porous structures using state-of-the-art experiment and analytical tools, preparing manuscripts for publication on high-end academic journals. The researcher will gain first-hand knowledge and skills in the investigation of the cementitious material at nanoscale. It will help pave his/her way towards an independent research position.

Qualifications

A qualified applicant should hold a PhD degree in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering or Material Science. He / She must have a strong background in the study of cement-based construction materials, particularly in microstructure observation and quantitative analysis.
