The School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment is a creative and vibrant school which provides high quality, innovative programs of cross-disciplinary research and teaching.  The School consists of integrated discipline areas in architecture, construction management, engineering, advanced manufacturing, industrial design and urban transformation research themes that intersect with other high performing areas of the University such as mathematics, culture and society, business, social sciences, health and the environment.

The School is now seeking a strong academic leader as its Chair of Architecture to provide strategic leadership and management in overseeing the delivery of contemporary teaching and world-class research which fosters collaboration within the School and across the University. 

The Chair will be an established researcher of international renown who will lead on the engagement with community, government, industry and professional bodies and with local and international partners. Experience in leading curriculum accreditation with relevant professional bodies will be essential, with time spent in industry and professional practice experience desirable.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to join a School which encourages creative digital disruption and technological entrepreneurship whilst leading the growth of Architecture as a discipline within the University.
