Fixed term for 24 months

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate to further develop their career by working on a 24-month Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between Modo Systems Limited and the University of the West of Scotland.

In addition to a substantial rewards package, the position offers the Associate the following benefits:

  • Lead a challenging & innovative project with real business impact
  • Champion change within an organisation & embed new knowledge
  • Receive support from leading academics and senior company staff
  • Develop commercially valuable skills & accelerate your career
  • The potential for a career with Modo Systems Limited at the end of the scheme

Modo's cloud-based software platform finds a user's digital files and attachments, gathers them up and organises them across all platforms and devices, regardless of source: online accounts, fire-store clouds, email, PC, tablet or phone. The business has 400,000 users of its free platform (150million site views to date) and plan on launching a premium, paid for, version, in 2020. Modo is a horizontal solution, targeting everyone who uses the net. The company is looking to strengthen their brand, expand the business both in the UK and internationally and solidify their position as a global leader in their market.  This will involve a combination of market led strategic change and business development activity, development and implementation of a modern business structure (organisational change), enhanced infrastructure (business systems), improved business processes (strategic marketing and business development) and a new customer centric culture (culture and change management).

This is a unique opportunity to join the Modo team and work directly with the CEO/senior management team.  We seek an outstanding graduate with a relevant degree in business/marketing, or a marketing related qualification, and a proven digital skillset to help deliver this transformative project.  In addition, the post holder will bring to the team a strong understanding of the dynamics of the international marketplace alongside the ability to develop marketing strategy. The candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team, collaborating with colleagues and sharing expertise.

The post will be based at the company HQ in Glasgow, working directly with the company founder and CEO, and may also involve general business travel.
