SENIOR COLLECTOR, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to perform all functions, within scope of authority and expertise, while providing the highest level of service and responsiveness to the members served by the MITFCU. Responsibilities include determining the appropriate plan of action on all delinquent accounts; forecasting and managing the day-to-day activities associated with delinquent accounts in collection status; and contacting MITFCU members with greater than 30-day delinquent accounts, including consumer, real estate, and student loans and negative checking and savings accounts.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least one year of credit union/bank experience, preferably in collections.

PREFERRED: experience with auto repossession and foreclosure proceedings, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, Fannie Mae reporting, and loan modifications. Job #19248-4
