Salary is £27,511 per annum pro rata. London Allowance of £2,134 will be payable in addition to salary.

Applications are invited for the post of the StoryFutures Academy Administration Officer. The post holder will have a key responsibility to work closely with creative industry partners and the National Film & Television School in administering the National Centre for Immersive Storytelling. 

The StoryFutures Academy Administration Officer is a key and pivotal role within the team and is at the heart of the systems and processes which ensure the delivery of work programmes with thousands of creatives and hundreds of high-profile organisations across the UK. The post holder must be proactive and have excellent communication skills. You will liaise with team members from the NFTS and Royal Holloway: from research, professional services, training, creative industry and education backgrounds.

As such, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in an office environment in either universities or creative industries.

You must have excellent organisational skills and the ideal candidate will be skilled in managing digital administration tools such as Zoom, Slack, Basecamp, Zoho and Doodle. You should welcome the opportunity take a proactive approach to administrative duties, and be able to approach multi-layered processes in a considered and methodical way. You should be comfortable in managing your work load to ensure that requests for administrative support are dealt with quickly and efficiently while the core tasks associated with your role are not neglected.

The role sits at Royal Holloway as part of an interdisciplinary Centre for Digital Creativity, providing a dynamic environment that connects creative industries with world leading researchers.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London. 

This is a full time 6- month post in the first instance but with the possibility of extension, available from 01 February 2021. This post is based in Egham, Surrey, with the expectation of remote working for the first half of 2021. The successful applicant will spend significant time liaising with industry partners across the UK. An attractive relocation package is available.
