Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 503080), to commence as soon as possible for one to two year(s), with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry or Biophysics. Preference will be given to those with a strong background in molecular biology, protein purification, and cell culture; and/or  experience in proteomics or single-molecule fluorescence microscopy. Applicants should be responsible, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. They should also have good analytical skills, attention to details, a good command of English, and the ability to multi-task. The appointee will participate in research projects related to the mechanism of human tubulin isotypes for regulating the biological function of microtubules.  Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Professor Michael Huen at msyhuen@hku.hk.
