Dean of Medical Faculty, Masaryk University, invites applications for the position of

Research Assistant (m/f) at Department of Biology

(a part time position of 4 hours per week)

Biology department is a research department that also guarantees teaching of theoretical and pre-clinical students of Biology at the Medical Faculty of Masaryk University.

Scope of the work:

  • Teaching both theoretical and practical courses for students of bachelor and master studying programs in czech and english language
  • Preparation and innovation of study materials in czech and english language
  • Preparation and optimization of new tasks for the practical courses
  • Preparation of tests, management of teaching grants, organization of teaching

Required skills:

  • Master degree in medicine / life sciences or similar
  • Completed PhD studies, or close to the graduation
  • Experiences in teaching at university level are welcome
  • Ability of independent pedagogical and research work
  • Ability to present the research outcomes at international conferences
  • Communicative level of English – both spoken and written, level C1
  • Fluent Czech - spoken and written
  • Willingness to learn, cooperate and engage in the academic community
  • Moral and research integrity
