The Department of Economics at Royal Holloway is one of the top research departments in the UK. The College is part of the University of London, and is located in beautiful surroundings in Egham, Surrey just outside of London, near Windsor Castle.

We are seeking to hire at the Lecturer level (Assistant Professor tenure track). We welcome applications in all fields of economics. Candidates should hold a PhD in Economics or expect to be awarded one by the end of the academic year.

We expect candidates to have clear potential to publish in the top general and field journals in Economics and have the ability to teach successfully at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Teaching loads and research support are internationally competitive.

The closing date for applications is the 28th January 2021. 

  • Applications received prior to 28th January 2021 will be shortlisted and interviews held during beginning of February 2021.
  • Applications received after the 28th January 2021 will be considered in the second round of interviews with a closing date of 26th February 2021.  Interviews are anticipated during early March 2021.
  • Applications received after the 26th February 2021 will be considered in the third round of interviews with a closing date of 26th March 2021.  Interviews are anticipated during early April 2021.
