Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Financial Mathematics within UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics

University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a permanent Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Financial Mathematics in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Applicants should have expertise in Financial Mathematics or Computational Finance, or both.

UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is committed to research and teaching across the mathematical sciences, including mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and actuarial science. The School has a successful undergraduate degree in financial mathematics and a new MSc in financial mathematics.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research in the mathematical sciences, and to contribute to the School's wide-ranging programme of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor Salary Scale: €54,848 - €86,235 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.

Closing date: 17:00hrs (local Irish time) on 15th February 2021
