Associate Professor in Transformation Leadership or Technology Management

We are seeking to appoint a teaching-focused Associate Professor in Transformation Leadership or Technology Management in the Department of Space and Climate Physics, University College London. The postholder will provide Masters-level teaching and workshops in transformation leadership / change management / project management within a technology context for academic programmes.They will also support other teaching activities in technology management, systems engineering management and/or project management, and conduct original research within the field of transformation leadership / change management / project management within a technology context.

The UCL Department of Space and Climate Physics is a research and teaching department of UCL and is the UK's largest university space research group. The Department participates in international space science projects through the design and construction of custom instrumentation, hardware and/or software products and the exploitation of that scientific data that these projects obtain. The Department is therefore a centre of space science and engineering expertise. To support these projects, a wide range of skills in technology management have been developed in the Department, and the Technology Management Group is a focus for these skills.

This is a open ended, full-time academic position.

The successful candidate should hold a Doctorate, preferably in management or leadership in a technology context. Expertise and experience in transformation leadership, change management or technology management, evidence of writing and disseminating research results in papers and presentations, and demonstrable interest/experience in technology are essential requirements for this position.
