About the role

This opportunity is located with Governance Services who, in addition to providing support and advice to the University in the areas of legal, policy, privacy and information access, insurance and risk management, and internal audit, provide secretariat support for the University Council, Academic Board and their subcommittees.

The Administrative Assistant will provide secretariat services to Academic Board and its committees and also undertakes a broad range of administrative services within the Governance Services work unit. The appointee will have a strong focus on secretariat support, including general committee support, organise meetings, prepare documentation for committees, draft minutes, compile agendas, track completion of action items and record keeping.

The remuneration package for this position is up to $82,239 per annum (inclusive of base salary $65,357-$70,290 per annum and 17% employer's contribution to superannuation).

About you

The University is seeking applications from experienced administrative support staff with experience providing secretariat services within a large organisation. You will have excellent attention to detail and record keeping skills and a working knowledge of the State Records Act.

You will be committed to delivering exceptional service to our internal clients, and constantly work towards improving systems and enhancing service delivery and efficiency. With an agile, energetic, solution-based approach you will work flexibly across the Governance Services team to support a range of administrative duties.
