Reporting to Director of Real Estate Asset Management, the Marketing Coordinator will support the development and execution of marketing events and projects for Yale University Properties, in efforts to increase the sales of retail and restaurant tenants occupying University Properties' premises. The coordinator will support marketing and promotional efforts that attract patrons to Yale University Properties' tenants’ retail and restaurant establishments, through timely development of marketing emails, website copy, brochures, posters, fliers and signage. Execute social media efforts through a thorough understanding of evolving social media technologies and best practices. Research and develop creative appropriate ways to connect with key audiences through promotions, and in-store and outdoor events. Conduct marketing and consumer research to continuously improve marketing and event development. Contribute to the development and improvement of innovations and marketing that will improve customer satisfaction, marketing effectiveness, and operational efficiency. Develop strong working relationships with the university, vendors, partners and tenants.
Please note that this position requires the ability to work occasional weekends and evening hours for events, including during peak shopping seasons.

- Coordinates day-to-day operations in order to achieve designated goals. Ensures effective management and leads the development and implementation of best practices.

- Develops a variety of complex report and other written materials.
- Provides guidance to and collaboration with internal and external partners as necessary.
- Develops, oversees and monitors budgets.
- Develops and maintains specialized training. 8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Self-starter, entrepreneurial and energetic with excellent attention to detail and the ability to conceptualize, plan, organize, run and market public events.
Required Skill/Ability 2:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all business owners, customers, and community groups to build relationships in a retail, restaurant and/or community environment.
