Overview
The Centre for Learning and Teaching delivers a comprehensive suite of services and programmes that promotes high quality learning and teaching outcomes for students and academic staff. Based predominantly at the Joondalup Campus, the Centre for Learning and Teaching plays a key role in designing and implementing future teaching and learning strategies and enhancing the student experience.
The Learning Technologies and Innovation team lead the development and support of technology enhanced learning, including the oversight of the learning management system (LMS) and related eco-system. They actively support academics and students to adopt the suite of technologies and promote innovative use of emerging technologies.
The Role
Under the broad direction of the Manager, Learning Technologies & Innovation, this role provides academic staff support, instruction and resourcing for centrally supported teaching and learning technologies. This involves the evaluation, integration and support of learning technologies that support technology enhanced learning.
Key Criteria:
- Postgraduate qualifications in Educational Technology or a related field from an accredited university or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
- Demonstrated skills and expertise in technical support for learning technologies and applications in a higher education setting, particularly working knowledge of the Blackboard LMS
- Expertise in providing support and guidance to stakeholders in the University on the adoption of learning systems resources and strategies to support sound pedagogy
- Ability to manage a small team to focus on all aspects of customer service to achieve quality outcomes for all parties involved
Knowledge of Canvas LMS is desirable.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $103,263 to $116,306 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
