This post provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of King’s College London’s new BSc in Neuroscience and Psychology with the object of ensuring a high standard of education and outcomes for students.
The post-holder will undertake teaching activities on the BSc in Neuroscience and Psychology, and contribute to the administration, delivery, assessment and enhancement of taught modules, with a major contribution to research methods and statistics.
Specifically, key aspects of the role will include:
- Assisting with planning, teaching and assessment of a new set of Research Methods and Statistics modules within the BSc in Neuroscience and Psychology degree. These modules are taught using R, and will cover quantitative and programming skills as well as transparent and reproducible research methods.
- Assisting with the teaching and assessment of other core Psychology curriculum modules, depending on interest and the needs of the programme.
- Supervision of undergraduate research projects (with a focus on quantitative statistical analysis and computation)
- Administrative responsibilities as well as supervisory/pastoral activities for students.
The post-holder will become part of a thriving academic community at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London.
