Research Fellow - Cardiovascular Research institute (CVRI)

Position: Research Fellow

A full-time Research Fellow position is available immediately in Cardiovascular Research institute (CVRI), Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.  Our lab is focused on discovering and developing microRNA therapeutics for the treatment of ischemic heart diseases and heart failure. 

A success candidate must have PhD in molecular biology or related field. Preferred experiences include animal work, cell culture, primary myocyte and fibroblast isolation/culture, gene overexpression and knock-down, RT-qPCR, molecular cloning, Western blot, immunohistochemical staining, flow cytometry, ELISA etc. We are seeking a person with curiosity and enthusiastic in biomedical science. The applicant is encouraged to work independently of assigned projects meanwhile will be closely supervised as needed.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
