Postdoc Associate in Polymer Chemistry/Chemical Synthesis/Drug Delivery/Chemical-bio-gas Sensing
Working at MIT offers opportunities, an environment, a culture – and benefits – that just aren’t found together anywhere else. If you’re curious, motivated, want to be part of a unique community, and help shape the future – then take a look at this opportunity.
POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE IN POLYMER CHEMISTRY/CHEMICAL SYNTHESIS/DRUG DELIVERY/CHEMICAL-BIO-GAS SENSING, Media Lab, to join the Nano-Cybernetic Biotrek (NCB) research group. The Nano-Cybernetic Biotrek research group’s aim is to develop extremely miniaturized micro-nano-devices that probe and modulate our biological system. The device will consist of hybrids of nanoelectronics with chemical functionalization and biological materials. Responsibilities will include designing and developing biomedical devices combining inorganic and biological materials; synthesizing various stimuli-responsive polymers, nanoparticles, peptides etc.; surface functionalization of nanoelectronics devices; checking functionality in in-vitro and in-vivo applications; and performing sensing experiment for detection of various chemicals, ions, biomolecules, enzymes, pH, etc.
