Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Research Admin and Finance the financial analyst will report on financial transactions, using University and Health system general ledger systems. Provides clear and accurate financial reporting including but not limited to financial modeling, creating and/or maintaining account analyses across the Department of Medicine. Incumbent should be an innate problem solver with strong analytical skills, exceptional leader with adaptable communication skills.  This position will also serve as oversight for a subset of accounting business process and in certain instances be an approver or initiator of these processes. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy are critical success factors for this position.  Should demonstrate an advanced level of knowledge for Microsoft Excel and Office Suite with the ability to deliver clear and concise presentations to varied audiences. Must maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
