The Department of Computer Science at Durham University seeks to appoint a number of talented individuals to the role of Associate Professor. We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests from across the spectrum of Computer Science but apart from theoretical computer science (we are not looking to expand the research group Algorithms and Complexity in Durham, ACiD, at present). The Department is currently restructuring its Research Groups and (as well as ACiD) the following research groups will be very likely to be formed within the next few months. We invite applications from candidates who can contribute to and strengthen these groups - but we are also happy to receive applications from candidates working in other areas.

Please note we are also advertising a number of Assistant and Full Professor positions and so collectively there is the possibility of moving a whole group to Durham.
