Assistant Professor, Biological Sciences
The Department of Biological Sciences at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for the position of Tenure-track Assistant Professorship in the area of urban ecology and sustainability.
The position is based in DBS. The department has over 60 full-time faculty members with diverse research expertise in three focal areas (Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity; Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology; and Biophysical Sciences) and over 300 full-time graduate students from 19 countries. The candidate will be required to:
- develop a highly competitive research programme in electron cryomicroscopy (cryoEM)
- participate in teaching
- contribute to service duties as required.
Candidates with PhD and an excellent publication record in cryoEM research, including single particle approaches and tomography.
