The Students, Partnerships and International portfolio (SPI)is comprised of four business units:Global Student Recruitment;Partnerships;Student Connect; and Student Life.Together, the SPI business units are responsible for the delivery of key student support and administration services, as well as the development of global learning partnerships.

The Students, Partnerships and International Portfolio is currently seeking a Director, Student Connect to join their team. Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor Students, Partnerships and International you will play a key leadership role in the University by leading the operational and strategic activities within Student Connect.You will work closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and other Directors in the SPI portfolio to deliver a sector leading student experience.

A key part of this role will see you leverage technology and high-quality student administration practices to drive and deliver innovative solutions for continuous improvement of the student journey. You will provide strategic and operational direction for the University’s Digital Student Journey project (currently in phase two) that delivers a single, cohesive, experience-based ‘digital student journey platform’, which is accessible across all digital services and seamlessly integrated with relevant UC systems.

You will be a proven leader with demonstrated experience in a tertiary education environment. Well-developed knowledge and understanding of higher education student administration practices and experience in leading a team to delivery high quality outcomes. You will also have demonstrated ability in providing strategic direction and leveraging technology solutions to enhance student experiences.
