Job Description
The successful candidate is expected to perform computer simulations of two-dimensional materials.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor or MSc degree in Physics, Materials Science of Mechanical Engineering from an internationally recognised university. We expect the candidate to have the following skills:
- Fundamental knowledge of the physics of solids and liquids
- Familiar with Linux operating system
- Able to program in Python, Fortran or Perl
Previous experience in molecular dynamics simulations using LAMMPS (Large-Scale Atomic/Molecular Massively Parallel Simulator) will be a plus. Interest in pursuing research in physics or chemistry will be taken into condsideration.
