About the role
With a strong commitment to excellence in service delivery, the Library Team Leader, Client Services will be responsible for the coordination, delivery and evaluation of front-line Library services to support service goals and University strategic directions in learning, teaching and research. The appointee drives continuous process improvement initiatives, and will understand industry trends and innovation and apply them appropriately to support our student and staff needs.
As a member of the senior library staff, the Team Leader is also involved in overall analysis, planning, and management of the service, including development and implementation of action plans.
This position is offered at any one of our main campus locations. Whilst our preference is for a Gold Coast or Lismore appointment, we will consider a Coffs Harbour location for the right candidate.
The remuneration package for this position is up to $119,857 per annum (inclusive of base salary $94,268-$102,442 per annum and 17% employer's contribution to superannuation).
Current Professional membership, or eligibility for, of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is essential.
To be successful in this role you will bring your skills and expertise gained through your studies and extensive experience in a university or research library. You will be an established leader, dedicated to advancing the services to our students and staff, and have a track record of leading and delivery outstanding results in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
