About the role

The University’s Technology Services unit provides effective technology leadership, strategy, and expertise through proactive engagement with the University and its partners. The unit consists of broad functional areas including Infrastructure Services, Customer Service, Student Engagement, Research and Academic Engagement, Administration Engagement and System Customisation.

The Analyst Programmer provides development and technical services for software development endeavours that are part of projects or one-off initiatives, and to diagnose and address defects in information systems. This position is also responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of implemented software developments.

The remuneration package for this position is up to $112,174 per annum (inclusive of base salary $94,268-$102,442 per annum and employers contribution to superannuation).

About you

We are seeking applications from energetic and skilled developers/systems analysts to join our large IT team. To be successful in this role you will bring knowledge across three or more of the following: .NET and/or PHP applications, XML, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Web Services, and SQL.

You will have thorough working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, including design, implementation, testing and deployment.

With a commitment to enhancing client services, you will utilise your excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders in a dynamic working environment.
