Research Assistant Professor, Hematology/Oncology

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, David and Etta Jonas Center for Cellular Therapy is searching for a Research Assistant Professor who will contribute to a research project on CAR T-cell therapy. The appointee’s primary activity will be to conduct academic research in association with a faculty member or team. The appointee will join a group of researchers who are cancer immunologists and cellular therapists focused on understanding mechanisms associated with CAR T-cell failure in patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The appointee will complement these existing areas of strength, and have expertise in molecular biology, experimental design and execution cancer biology and/or immunology. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in cancer biology and/or immunology.
Applicants must have 1) a doctoral degree or equivalent in Molecular or cancer biology, biochemistry, immunology, or related disciplines, and 2) completed postdoctoral training prior to the start of employment.
