SENIOR MARKETING SPECIALISTMIT Professional Education (PE), to join a group that offers a suite of education programs and products to serve the continuing educational needs of professionals globally. The main duties will include developing content for email, marketing collateral, web, and social media campaigns; creating and monitoring analytic framework to measure success of campaigns and provide recommendations to the assistant director; providing input and implementation for social and digital media strategies; providing logistical support for MIT PE programs, i.e., communicating with partners on program details, communicating and providing guidance for MIT faculty teaching in the programs, and ensuring the programs run smoothly from a marketing perspective; and proactively creating and drafting plans for different markets for the assistant director to review and approve. 

Job Requirements

REQUIREDbachelor’s degree in marketing and communications or a related field; at least three years’ communications or marketing experience; in-depth knowledge of marketing, web, social media, and project management; demonstrated ability to build productive and collaborative working relationships with individuals at all levels, including senior officers; experience developing strategic plans for marketing communications; ability to work effectively in a fast-moving and changing environment; excellent organizational, interpersonal, decision-making, presentation, and oral and written communication skills; good judgment with confidential information/issues; and ability to grasp and understand new market needs and gauge cultural differences.  Must be proficient with Apple computers, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Drupal, Salesforce, Pardot, web content management systems, marketing automation tools, project management software, social media management software, basic HTML, SEO, and Google Analytics. Job #19043-7
