Job Description Summary

This position reports to the Director of Student Finances and the primary responsibility is the coordination with Student Financial Services, Loan Office, third-party billing and Registrar; focusing on the Wharton MBA and EMBA students financial experience.

Job Description

The Associate Director provides loan resources to students and monitors monthly reports around loans, billing, additional programming, and student resources. The position will provide strategic communication and resources to students based on feedback from the student population and changes in the lending landscape.   

The Associate Director will assist with overall financial aid counseling in financial planning and loan eligibility; occasionally providing financial aid presentations to prospective and admitted applicants during the admissions cycle and Wharton Welcome Weekends.  The successful candidate will possess a demonstrable ability to search for and draw actionable conclusions from data. This position requires a keen eye for data analysis and actionable reporting, as well as a commitment to process improvement and customer service. This position will have the ability to work as a part of a cross-functional team in an innovative and data-driven environment.  

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience required.
