The Campus Pastoral Associate (Students and Staff) ministers on a day-to-day basis across their campus, in-person and in virtual forums and conversations. You will ensure vibrant, relevant, consistent campus ministry delivery to students and staff on campus and virtually, enriching the religious and spiritual lives of ACU students and staff of all denominations and faiths through liturgy, retreats, education, service and pastoral care in the Catholic tradition.

You will work collaboratively with the Office of the Campus Dean, ACU Sport, the Office of Student Success and other organisational units of the University to implement programs and strategies meeting the unique needs of the campus.

You will need to have:

  • An understanding of the University’s mission and Catholic ethos and demonstrate an understanding of how this role serves the mission
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Theology, Religious Education or Ministry or equivalent experience
  • Experience in pastoral ministry (Campus Ministry Experience preferred)
  • Ability to encourage and advocate the vision of Campus Ministry for the overall good of the University’s Catholic Identity and Mission
  • Experience in church ministry within the Catholic Church and a demonstrated commitment to ministry activities within the Catholic Church.

Total remuneration valued to $95,102 - $102,196 pa, including salary component $80,362 - $86,357pa (Higher Education Worker Level 6), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
