Job Description
Dr. Wentao Yan's group at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), focuses on metal additive manufacturing: including both computational modeling and experimental validation. This postdoctoral research fellow position is focused on micro-mechanical modeling of additively manufactured metals based on crystal plasticity.
Qualifications
- PhD degree.
- A deep understanding of crystal plasticity.
- Skilled in finite element simulation, particularly writing UMAT and VUMAT subroutines in ABAQUS.
