About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse / Academic to deliver nursing education programs and participate in a partnership initiative between Southern Cross University’s School of Health and Human Sciences and Northern New South Wales Local Health District (NNSW LHD). This role will focus on:

  • Delivery of the Master of Mental Health Nursing SCU Online program, delivered in conjunction with the University’s educational partner, Keypath Education; and
  • The partnership model with NNSW LHD that aims to consolidate the clinical and education interface, provision of drive opportunities to advance nursing education and research, and assisting NNSW LHD staff in the delivery of outstanding nursing and midwifery services.

The remuneration package for this position is up to $138,092 per annum (inclusive of base salary $99,649-$118,027 per annum and 17% employer's contribution to superannuation).

About you

We are seeking applications from experienced mental health nursing clinicians or academics who are passionate about the advancement of healthcare practices that enable enhanced patient outcomes. You will have a proven track record of contributing to the education of the nursing profession, either within a tertiary or clinical environment, and demonstrate success in the design and delivery of innovative curricula.

Applicants should demonstrate success in developing strong industry relationships within the healthcare sector.
