Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Department of Science & Technology (DST) Funded Project in School of Civil Engineering (SCE), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Tamil Nadu

“Development of Forewarning System for Landslides in The Nilgiris.”

Qualification

Essential: M.E/M.Tech (Geotechnical Engineering)

GATE qualification

Desirable: Exposure and knowledge in field investigation, landslide analysis, geotechnical instrumentation, sensors, MASW tests, slope stability analysis using PLAXIS3D, FLAC2D, SLOPEW.

Stipend

Rs. 31,000/-per month + 8% HRA (for first two years)

Rs. 35,000/- per month + 8% HRA (for third year)

The candidate should be willing to register for Ph.D
