Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a full-time Clinical Associate for a renewable two-year term. The appointee will devote their clinical time primarily to Labor & Delivery (Family Birth Center).  There are approximately 3,000 deliveries annually at the Family Birth Center.  Based on Department need, the appointee may also provide in-patient Gynecology service coverage.  We especially welcome applicants with experience in vaginal delivery of twins, operative vaginal delivery (forceps and vacuum), high order cesarean sections, and comfort with high-acuity high-volume settings.  This position does not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
