Child Psychiatrist

The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank. The appointee will join a multidisciplinary section focusing on patient care and outpatient responsibilities of providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents and their families.   Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. We especially welcome applicants familiar with outpatient psychiatric care and open to consultation-liaison work. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) Board certified or eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and 4) have residency training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
