Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Allergy/Immunology, seeks a Clinical Associate at 30% effort for a one-year term.  The appointee will provide clinical care for both pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology patients in ambulatory settings including at the University of Chicago Comer Children's ambulatory clinic and in off-site ambulatory locations affiliated with the University.  The Clinical Associate will be paid based on clinical shifts worked; approximately one eight-hour session per week along with call coverage as needed.  We seek a collaborative physician who will be positioned to succeed in a busy, dynamic environment and advance the goals of the Section of Allergy/Immunology.   We especially welcome applicants with expertise in laser velocimetry.  The position does not require teaching or scholarly activity.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board Certified or eligible in Allergy/Immunology, and 4) and have completed an ACGME accredited Allergy/Immunology training program.
